As an italian, i relate a lot more with the french style, especially for the makeup (we tend to go with the effortless look, no foundation but with mascara and blush, exactly like Justine said). When it comes to clothes and shoes i feel like young italian women go for a more casual style for the day than the french, with sneakers and jeans everyday

Would love to see your next collaboration with an Italian fashion blogger (if there is any out there)!!! From my personal experience, Italian women are very stylish & have a very unique sense of fashion. They work, play and live their lives to the fullest. They possess such rich culture in Arts and Music. So, it'd be very interesting to see their take on fashion as well.

Scandinavian women are not all that trend conscious or consumerist. It’s only the bloggers and the fashionistas. Most tend to dress elegantly and practically. Not as feminine as French women. French women like to look like they haven’t tried, while Scandinavian women don’t try, unless you are particularly interested in how you adorn yourself.

From America but i am in LOVE with everything french. Over half my mother's family came from France ♡ and many of the french traditions were passed down.

I lived in Italy for a very long time and now I moved to Norway. Ugh, the struggle with shopping!! Italian style is similar to french so I struggle so much finding stuff to buy, shoes especially! Seriously, 99% of shoes around here are old lady like flat weird stuff (hiking sandals! Women wear hiking sandals in the city!!) and sports shoes. The end! So I wonder if i should just go with my own style and not care about what others do or if I should "convert" so I don't look out of place? Sigh…

I live in the US and have a French co worker and she is so stereotypically French chic, I can’t stand it haha. She wears a bold burgundy lip everyday and intense mascara. She isn’t afraid to whack on eyebrow pencil either, and wears quite a bit of blusher/bronzer. For hair, it is always in a gorgeous updo, I believe it to be called the banana chignon (it has to be for our line of work). stylewise, she told me she loves blue and glitter. She has many pretty sweaters that has sparkle, color and texture. And of course she wears perfume everyday and tells me she loves perfume.

she doesn’t seem to concern herself with the small, petty stuff I get worked up over and can rise above it? She also smokes which to me seems interesting because she is fit and put together and intelligent and yet she still will smoke. That kind of uncaring about ones vanity and health all in the name of unwinding for a few minutes…. can’t deny it sort of cool haha.

I’m Swedish, and I don’t really agree on the beige coat and jeans. Black coats are the staple, as is black clothes in general. Also, a quite understated look when it comes to jewellery and make up. High heals at work, and boots on the subway.

A suivre…
