Norway Explained Through a Womans Purse | Exclusive Access

OUR SECRETS REVEALED: Are you ready for a deep dive into a Norwegian woman’s personal stuff? The things we find, what can it say about Norway and Norwegians today. What are our priorities in life? What is important to us? How vain are we? What do we do in our spare time? What is the most expensive we find? And not least, which bag design is popular in Norway?
This is, of course, a super serious research project and a qualitative study of modern Norway and its demands for being a citizen. At the same time, it’s a humorous video full of little funny secrets and important details of everyday life and celebration.
In this video you get answers to life’s small and big questions. You will also hear the story of how cows and milking have inspired Norwegian skin care. Which scents we prefer. And what we dislike. You also get to know what it is like to be a single mother in Norway and what challenges she faces. What must she always be prepared for?
The woman in the film is anonymous, but she will tell bits of her personal history and confirm that this is a typical Norwegian bag and bathing cabinet, with typical content. At the end, anonymity slips, and we get a rare picture of a typical shy and introvert Norwegian woman who hates being in front of the camera.
Ronald digs into the privacy of others. Mads gets a little embarrassed. Ronald responds as usual in a sarcastic manner and at the end it ends up as a satire about Norway, pragmatic women and less handy men.

Thanks to all watching, subscribing, reacting, sharing and engaging. We love you all. As always, a satiric and self-deprecating YOURWAY2NORWAY video, made by Mads Nilsson and Ronald Sagatun

NICE JOB!…OK, I SAW THREE ITEMS THAT ARE USA PRODUCTS: EXTRA CHEWING GUM, SENSORDINE TOOTHPASTE, AND APPLE I PAD.. I STOP CHEWING EXTRA BECAUSE HERE IN THE USA ALL GUM HAS EQUAL BRAND SUGAR SUBSTITUTE IN IT THEY TOOK OUT ALL THE SUGAR IN GUM AND REPLACED IT WITH EQUAL… SO I DO NOT CHEW IT ANYMORE, SAD!
EQUAL DOES HAVE A CHEMICAL NAME BUT I CAN'T SPELL IT..
BUT IT IS A POISON…I LOOKED IT UP AND FOUND OUT WHAT IT IS:
BACTERIA MICRO ORGANISM EXCRETMENT. (POOP) OFF OF THE BACTERIA. SO I LEARNED THAT PART, AND WENT ON TO FIND WHAT BACTERIA AND IT WAS, 'ECOLI!'
SO WHEN YOU CHEW GUM YOU ARE CHEWING A MOUTH FULL OF BACTERIA SHIT!..

I heard it's hard to use U.S, credit cards in Norway, and we should get some cash. No?

My purses are small but I can fit a lot in them. I can not relate to a large purse. I've seen giant bags all over Oslo. My sisters and mother have bags that I would use as a carry-on.
    However, I do fix things.

Am I the only one who felt awkward all through this viewing?

  6. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Hey Ronald I'm a man old man that that I got purse in my purse said Milwaukee on it and is full of tools..

It would appear as genders and generations are well separated by beeswax paper like matpakke.. That's a level of emotional independence I find hard to understand (and I'm not a really clingy/emotional person). I suppose that it would be impossible for an Italian (for example) to marry a Norwegian.. They are like beings from different countries..🤔 if I may ask, your mum is from Chile, how did she get on with your father/his family?

  8. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

What explains Norway best is that matpakke shirt with the upside-down reindeer. LOL!

Your friend is very pretty. Tell her thank you from me for letting you fellows do this show.

The wooden bathroom door in your friend's apartment is interesting? Is that typical Norwegian? Yhe reason I ask is that I just installed a nice manufactured home on my ranch and the kitchen has woodwork exactly like that. Maybe the builders ordered it from Scandinavia? I had never seen anything like it before and now I see it in your video.

I have watched so many of your videos that when I selected paint for my new cottage, and it all looked off-white or kind of beige, I was worried I had achieved the Norwegian colors of beige and beige. Fortunately, when I added a blue bed covering and a red Oriental carpet, the very pale green called "Marzipan" on the paint can, assumed the desired color. (I am a professional artist and, respectfully, I do not like Scandinavian minimalist functionality. My taste is for Italianate designs like the Winter Palace or the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, with lots of rococo, carved wood and rich fabrics inside.)

When you said an Apple I thought Apple fruit, lol silly me.

  10. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Oh I love checking out other people's bathrooms! I always feel guilty about it! Love you guys, so funny! Sending love from Croatia!:-*

  11. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Why surprised that a woman has cement or silicone tube. Women are as capable as men .

  12. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Haha – the first thing I noticed is you didn't take your shoes off when you went in the apt. You have me trained to expect it.
Loved the tour of the purse. You recognized the matpakke right away, but the make-up bag contents threw you. I think it's…ummmm…tampoo? 😀 It's okay – you're not expected to know what all that secret women's stuff is. I'm sure men have their equivalents.
And everything in her purse made perfect sense. (I live in the USA) It's not Norwegian women's stuff so much as women's stuff. 😉 And I think we all recognized the Yves Saint Laurent logo right away.
Wait, did you just set that black container down on top of the poor lizard?! That little guy was my favorite thing in the cool box. Ah, so she uses the Norwegian equivalent of Bag Balm. Good stuff!
    That was fun. 🙂

  13. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

All i have in my purse is a roll of quarters, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, cards, and stray coins, i live in the USA, i checked the contents of my purse during the video 😆

  14. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

    No hand wipes?
In addition to face powder and lipstick, whenever I leave the house, I have to have hand wipes. Opening doors, shaking hands and touching elevator buttons can get one's hands germy. Seems as if they don't have hoarders in Norway.

  15. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

They broke in to the house lmao

  16. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

I’m American (ish). Minus the sandwhich, this is the typical handbag for American women too.

  17. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

It's not a purse, its a diaper bag. Lol

  18. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

This looks very much like the contents of my American purse-except no matpakke!

  19. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Very interesting. Not too crazy about that purse though. In Canada we don't carry sandwiches with us, at least not anyone I know. I don't recall any Norwegian family members being very handy. Perhaps they lost that craft on the boat on their way to Canada. Good video.

  20. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

You said YSL.. that is a high brand French makeup. Ever heard of St Laurent?

  21. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

I never thought watching what was on a woman’s purse could be fun, I only carry a credit card, money, a bottle of perfume, driver license, keys and a comb.

  22. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

I love your videos about norwegian culture. Hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷😘

  23. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Udder cream….we have it too in America

  24. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Purses are very popular in america BUT it is also popular to have a lot of stuff that you normally carry in your purse kept in our car. I carry a purse for my phone keys and credit cards but everything else is kept in my car. She is a pretty lady

  25. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

I think fluorid tablets are typical for Norway .And no caries and cavities .

  26. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

You May Be A Pervert If You Get Off By Inspecting A Woman's Purse. LOL!!! There Is Nothing Particularly Norwegian In Her Purse Including The Sandwich In A Plastic Bag!!! LOL!!!

  27. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

Udder!!! hahaaaaa! I like the rubbing action! 🙂

Loved the video! It was fun and also good insight into Norwegian life. Out here in NZ, its pretty similar except I'm sure we're mostly unprepared 😂

  29. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am

LOL, that cement threw you off, huh?

  30. August 31, 2019 at 6:20 am
