Nordic Cooking In The Wilderness

Ever wonder what Sweden’s culinary culture has to offer other than Ikea’s Swedish meatballs?

Meet Mr Magnus Nilsson – head chef of Europe’s most remote restaurant

MR PORTER travelled 375 miles north of Stockholm to visit Fäviken Magasinet – currently 25th best restaurant in the world. We spent the day with Mr Nilsson (and his English setter Krut) as he foraged for ingredients, and cooked grouse over an open fire. This is hyper-local food at its finest.

I'm a vegan but catching your prey, showing respect to it and preparing it into a meal is something i can not hate.
Hunting for sport and overconsumption of meat is a different story.

That's a mans chef. This guy is so rugged he don't need a spatula to cook, just use a tree brunch! Anyway, the video is cozy!

One of the top 50 restaurants in the world mind you, and this guy and just a few others alone are responsible for a revival of the New Nordic Cuisine.
