Perhaps some art on one of the walls?

Edit: I really really love what you’ve done here. It looks gorgeous.

Honestly, I wouldn’t do anything else. I love it the way it is. Sometimes, stuff on the wall can take away from the room. Granted, I’m a minimalist and love a clean uncluttered room.

What a beautiful room, it looks so serene.

Small suggestion: If you want to extend the white theme to the fan, you can spray paint it white. I’ve done it before and it looked great. Take it apart, spray paint the base first (holding the can about 6-10 inches away and spraying evenly), then do the wire cage and the fan blade. When it’s dry put it back together, and voila. Or if you want to make it even more matched to the room, you can paint the base tan (like the tabletops and chair legs) and the cage and blade white.

I would exchange the desk with the drawer and get more space for your πŸͺ‘and move your clock next to the bed

If you are standing in the doorway to the room in this photo, then I recommend swapping the layout. Put the bed and dresser to the left and the desk to the right. The dresser stops the line of sight when you walk in and makes it feel less open and airy.

As someone who just bought and installed ceiling fans in his bedrooms, I could definitely recommend upgrading the stand up

Try moving the carpet under your bed and partially under your desk πŸ‘Œ

Looks very nice. I’d maybe remove 1 or 2 things on your desk (a bit cluttered), and maybe put larger painting or a smaller picture wall with 3 or 4 paintings above. The carpet looks good and frames the room nicely. Perhaps move the bedside table a couple of inches out of the desktop to the carpet and move the fan?

You can add some shelves above your table and add hanging plants. If not some simple wall frames. U can put up rustic swag flower bouquet if u want.

Go on Etsy and look up some very minimal art work and print it out at a FedEx place then buy a frame at Walmart!

I really like that chair! Do you what it is/where you got it?

Other than that, could you try raising the blinds up or somehow getting them out of the way to let more natural light in? Right now the horizontal/vertical clashing between them and the curtains is a bit off-putting.

Art. Go to your local college/university. Find a piece that speaks to you, pay the artist a fair amount and everyone is happy!

I would put some pops of colour with cushions and art/pictures/posters ok the wall. Very elegant though.
