Wood & white/cream look stunning together so I would definitely opt for the cream chair with wooden legs. It’s so unusual & breaks up the straight lines of the existing man made materials, giving the room a chic & cosy comfort. How about a tv shelving unit like the black one but made in the same wood as the chair? Possibly a table too or a real wood blanket chest in a similar shape to the European marble one. It wouldn’t be that expensive to have them made by a local joiner. For the rest of the accent, gold trimmings on lamps & tables would bring it to life. I’m intrigued to see what you do choose & love the way you are involving your followers. Thank you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️

Get rid of the gallery wall it’s to much in that small space 💓💓

Wayfair and Luxe Decor have some really nice place marble coffee tables. I think bringing some wood accents into your space would be nice. I just got through with redoing my guest room, living and dining rooms. You will love when it all comes together. 👍🏼 Also, check out Home Goods. They have amazing decor. Happy Decorating !😀 ( oh, I think you mean COMMAND STRIPS?)

Love your decorating here is what i like
    1) wing back chair or the wood chair
    2)Glass shelf
3)block coffee table (you could try making one with marble tiles)
    4)brushed side table
    5)round circle lamp
    6)urban skin rug
The view out the window is really eye catching. I can't help but think you should try to bring in some green(plants, throw pillows, pictures) from those stunning windows of that building. I like the picture frames. I just subscribed to your channel its refreshing compared to some of the other you tube content.

Love your entire T.J. Maxx haul! As to your Canva decor options, I like the black and gold lamp because it ties back into your dining room. I also love the off-white, leaf-print rug to add subtle texture to your new sofa. Try Big Lots for small home decor items.

I’m looking for some living room inspiration and this video is great…I love 💗 the black chairs, but also the wood ones…can you hang the tv from the wall and eliminate the media? It will give you more room for the coffee table…just saying.

Love the two circle tables for your coffee table but maybe if you chose those then the two round end/side tables might be a bit much

For your sofa you could get some spray protector. If you make A mess It'll come off easy.

I love the "Urban Skin" rug, I think it will add the right amount of pattern to the space. I have the lamp with the 2 asymmetrical globes and it's lovely but finding the bulbs for it was tricky. I ultimately chose 2-25 watt incandescent/halogen bulbs and that was perfect. Coffee tables are so tricky, you have to go with something that you love, out of the three you picked the solid black marble was the best. Also, I agree with adding the wood chair to the mix. It will add needed warmth and texture.

Here's a decorator who has a delightful way of expressing herself, as do you. Her mom's a decorator (how she got trained). Now in a new place with tips about making a house homey.

I don't know if there is a restoration hardware store in NYC but don't hesitate to add some vintage pieces and a few things from Ireland in the mix. Also, make sure your sofa is scotch guarded so if you spill something it will be easier to clean. 😍

Congrats on the Times piece. How exciting was that? I like the same shelving unit that you did for the living room but I am biased since it looks like a larger version of the one I have. I felt the same that I didn’t want it to look like a tv table and I could add decorative pieces. Liked the lamp with the big circle or the tall black one. Chairs and rugs you really have to see what fits. In the last video you showed a pic of mirrors over a couch. I think that would look nice over your couch instead of the single pic. It would make the room seem larger. I’m looking forward to next weeks video to see any new additions.

You need a beautiful vintage credenza, i have a perfect white with walnut legs.

Try to get some hanging lights too!

Erika this is V random but I bought this faux marble coffee table from Wayfair and it has the wood that you were talking about with the chair…might be the best of both worlds for you?? Good luck with the rest of the decor!

This is fun! I enjoyed when u inserted a picture that was an example of the type of chair u were thinking about for the living room, easier to visualize what u are going for. As for the tv stand… I’ve seen beautiful rooms that have used such items as an antique Chinese rice chest, a bedroom dresser, etc. In other words, anything goes. Most important … u have to love it, because at the end of the day the only one who has to live with it is u. Love joining u on this journey!!!

There is a website called or something, if a site does not have the option to ship abroad you can give the adres from their warehouse and then they wil send it to your address in the US. I think there are more sites like this too.

An option for a tv stand could be a low dresser in a wood finish.

The lamp on the left with the white shade and black base really stood out to me. Really chic and I think it would go so well with the vibe your creating. Thanks so much for bringing us on this journey!!i love interiors 😀

Seeing that your space is quite narrow how about hanging your TV on the wall and have floating shelves instead? I saw you use floating shelves as your shoe wall in one your videos and that really opened up space in your bedroom. Mounting TV on the wall and incorporating floating shelves (under it? around it?) might work, especially if you can find chic ones. That way there will be some space left for a coffee table, I hope. ☺️

I liked your tv stand ideas, but I think you need some natural accents in your living room, like a nice wooden tv stand. I know you liked the open shelved one so you can decorate it, but I think all the wires and stuff coming out of the tv will drive you crazy since you can see straight through the glass shelves. Something to think about!

I think that a bit of wood would bring warmth to the room, maybe a wood TV stand? There are some beautiful modern wood pieces these days 🙂

If I were you I would hang tv on the wall, I would get a gold&glass bookself where the lamp is so you can decorate it and use as a side table. I will get one or two wood accent chair(that will make room more nice&cozy) on front side and get a little bigger coffe table with storage and a bigger mirror where you have a mirror already. So room would feel bigger but cozy.
