    Beautiful, but I think it doesn’t quite qualify as Scandinavian style. It’s light and airy, but wooden window frames, the accent wall behind the sink and the use of what looks like 4 types of wood in one space (counting the table/chairs) is not very “Scandinavian”.

    Any opinions?

    It is just about perfect for me. The only quibble I have with it is that there are strong horizontal lines established by the tile, the panel over the sink and the shelves, but then it looks like the lower cabinets have grain running both vertically and horizontally. The v and h mix I find very jarring.

    What do you mean you found it? Just curious, like randomly coming across this pic in realtor.com app? Or you walked around an old neighborhood in Houston, sneaking in and taking pictures?

    I wonder where they got that wall texture behind the stove and how it was installed seamlessly.
