DIY Minimalist Christmas Decorations | Christmas 2017

After posting my recent minimalist gift ideas video a number of you asked me to show you how I decorate my home for Christmas. So I created this video to show you what I’ve created this year to make my home look a little more festive. It’s summer here in New Zealand so I find minimalist decor works really well for a hot Christmas. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these ideas and they inspire you to create some cool minimal decor too.

Thanks for watching and happy holidays.

Happy Holidays absolutely love…love…love. your ideas. could I provide other suggestions? I have also utilized my bay laurel, and rosemary branches with pine cones, an ornament, a candle for centerpieces. Spray paint on Pine Cones or Star Anise , Glitter optional creates additional holiday cheer and options. Bundled 7 plus, tree barks of an inch plus circumference secured with Holiday Ribbon in the center and twigs of greenery, simply divine. Pine Cones collected every year placed in special, unique, or festive container, tray, baskets adds to season., Boiling Cinnamon Sticks in water makes the home smell divine and festive Just turn on stove when need to reactivate. Essential oils on small piece of flannel, wool, or cotton-balls tucked inconspicuously in key areas will scent up area for days. Importance of using Lights for the season, reasonable, long lasting, does not require a big footprint when storing, can also be used for other events, or occasions. Baked Cookies , decorated, lacquered or shellacked makes wonderful ornaments, gifts, get creative. .Festive Yardage, in solids or plaid can be used for holiday, other festive events, or daily for napkins (with or without frayed edging), table runner, or table cloth. Small footprint. A Lantern placed among holiday decor festive also great for power outages and outdoor use all year. I best stop here as with creativity it is infinite. Happy Holidays, Blessings to All

You can crush candy canes or mints into those glasses and then candles to add a bit of holiday color. Very inexpensive too.

New to minimalist style. I'm planning declutter but I still like style and prettiness around me. I like your stylish ideas as I'm not a fan of plain. Thanks.
