I love that you show your mistake and most importantly how to fix them. Very helpful as I have been known to make mistakes.

Thank you for keeping it real!!!

Just go to woodprix website if you want to know how to make it yourself.

It looks nice, did you do continuous grain with the edge banding? If so how, since you would have 4 points and can't hide the bottom like the main cabinet?

Dang those legs are expensive!! Any cheaper options that you know of? Beautiful stain color

It's nice to have something that's brand new and perfect. But in time that gets bumped anyway. Having a story of imperfection and mistakes is what memories and love are made of.

Good to hear a youtuber admit their mistakes. Shows a sign of humility. Well done.

I like how the ad for squarespace was to the side. I could hear your ad (which you need to keep your channel going) but it also meant I could focus on the build.

Much better than stopping build to spruik the ad.

  35. September 20, 2019 at 10:01 pm

Hey Mike, love the desk. Planning to make something similar soon. When you cut the edge banding off, how exactly did that work? It looked like you cut a piece off and then basically glued it right back on. How did you get the right look to it?

  36. September 20, 2019 at 10:01 pm

    Ooooo! That turned out gorgeous!
