Love the tutorials, they're all so cute. Which would you advise for a beginner? Also I'm a bit confused. I've done blanket stitch before and never did it the way you did. Is it a stitch that can be done different ways? Many thanks.

Al Bennett: Message for Al Bennett. You sent me an email through the Made To Sew website. I have tried to reply but believe the email address is incorrect as the mail bounces back. Can you please confirm your email address?

Regarding your question, I am really sorry for the confusion and that this wasn't covered in the tutorial. The ric rac is attached all the way around the legs, the join is at the inside of the leg (or a similar inconspicuous area). I then used the slip stitch to apply it as show in the video. I hope this helps? So you will want to apply after seeing the gingerbread man together.

Please let me know that you have received this.
