Are you going to do a head board like this in Belle's room?

  4. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

Viewed 😁 the drywall install. Nice! Seriously? Complaints about audio echo…I didn’t have a problem, understanding that is usual after drywalling. Nice job. Very interesting. You folks are what life and work were all about 60 years ago. Pride in all one does in making a home. πŸ‘

    Workwork craftsmanship…Awesome!
Use of all your wood for unity of project…Impeccable!
That flooring now has been both muted but more lively…What a room to be proud of you guys!❀

Laura darling make you some tables to do your cutting down a set of the floor. And people have probably already told you this, or ask you why you have it. Too hard on your knees too hard on your back it will show up later on. Just a friendly suggestion from a 64-year-old lady. Yes I build things. In the middle of Revamping my trailer. Love your work

  11. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

I hope you will do a reveal of the room once it's all finished and you've moved into it. Sounds like some unique ideas. Cool!

  12. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

It's a plus that the woodwork is unique (not store bought) but yet well done.

  13. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

Did you finish the bedroom? Side tables, trim. Final reveal?

  14. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

WOW,, I am truly impressed!! Great job, you two are such a cute couple and so inspiring!

  18. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

I am going to be honest. I didn't liked the walls or floor but now that you have tied it all together with the trim it looks good. Now I am really excited for the final reveal.

  19. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

We also did the shorter trim in our home. I just wanted to basically cover the gap between floor and Sheetrock wall. Plus it gives it a more finished look. I wish we had used the oil. I used polyurethane and it was a longer process than I anticipated. Sand, apply, sand and apply. Uggg. And if it wasn’t quite dry it was sticky and stuck to saw horses and I actually left my finger print on one and had to start over because it was very noticeable. You’ve given this old crow many modern ideas for when we ever get around to finish woodwork in n the rest of the house. Great video πŸ‘πŸ‘

smaller trim also helps makes smaller rooms look bigger.

  21. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

    Very nice…

  22. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

    Great job love it

  23. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

Doug, your were listing all the steps you were doing to the wood, but left out a step that I think is a hard thing to do. Mitering the corners. Very good job! I love natural wood.

  24. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

Big thumbs up! You are such a talented couple!

  25. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

Our watching you get the work done without our first having seen your design is quite an experience: It makes you look like some kind of genius. This phenomenon happens also with music, for example: Listening to music without having seen the score makes the composer sound like some kind of genius. If we knew your design BEFORE your presentation of the work, you'd be just a regular guy putting stuff together. lol But right now, you're a genius.

Help please. I have followed you all since before you moved to the school property and I followed Bobblehead Homestead since Jeff was Peoria Dude. I was so excited about Jeff's cabin and in a live. It was super busy I chat and there were trolls. It seems like one of the Mods must have blocked me because now when Jeff goes live I can not comment. I assure you I have always been nothing but nice, kind and supporative. I've never said anything trollish or rude. I see you mod in Jeff's lives and was wondering if you can fix what must have been a mistake that resulted in my becoming blocked. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. ❀️ You guys

  29. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

I’m so excited πŸ˜† I can’t wait to see the final finish! Yay 😁 it’s almost done

  30. August 4, 2019 at 4:14 am

Very well custom job Doug. However, looking back on it, is there anything you would have done differently…And also, why not a knotty pine bedroom door ? That would've blown my mind.
